| Liverpool based musician and birrov a Scouser! Father was a piano teacher, so grew up in a musical household and acquired piano and singing skills from a very early age. Became a member of the Church Choir at age 7, and Head Chorister at age 11. Developed an interest in electronic organs in the early 1980s, favouring the Yamaha Electone series with their great range of orchestral sounds, rather than the traditional Hammond/Lowry/Wurlitzer sounds. Won the Yamaha Electone Festival UK Final in 1985. Went on to work for Yamaha and became Chief Instructor for Yamaha Music Schools UK in the 1990s. |
